The beer garden at Fergie’s Pub opens for the season tonight — stop by for craft beer, beach-inspired food, games and alfresco fun.

For those looking for a visit to a museum, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts will offer free admission this evening until 6 p.m. and a special lecture after the free admission ends.

The Kimmel Center also gets in on the free action with a free concert in its SEI Innovation Studio from two youth jazz orchestras.

Art in Process at PAFA

The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts continues its Art in Process event series with a discussion from the folks behind Monument Lab, an organization that aims to answer the question what would be a good monument in Philadelphia in modern day? Dine, drink and shop under the night sky as Media continues its popular shopping and dining foodie promotion, Dining Under the Stars. Spruce Street Harbor Park Promenade

The Delaware River Waterfront’s annual tasting event and fundraiser takes over Spruce Street Harbor Park tonight. The Spruce Street Harbor Park Promenade offers a preview of the space during a tony tasting event featuring an open bar with fine wine, cocktails, local beer and food from some of the city’s top restaurants — think Sbraga, Vernick and Federal Donuts. Tickets are $150, and are available online and proceeds go towards arts programming on the waterfront.

Pay-What-You-Wish Wednesday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

Score a deal on admission the Philadelphia Museum of Art today as it hosts its weekly pay-what-you-wish Wednesday promotion. From 5 to 8:45 p.m., explore the galleries in the main building while enjoying yoga, crafts and themed tours. Also tonight, watch chefs from Stephen Starr Events demonstrate Indian cooking techniques for $45 for non-museum members and $40 for members.
